Marc R. Gaylord believes that when it comes to legal issues, experience matters—but so does trust, efficiency and reputation.

Marc and his wife Laurie moved to Jupiter Island in 1997. They are actively engaged with their community and serve on numerous boards of charitable foundations and organizations. Laurie Gaylord serves as Superintendent of the Martin County School District. Their children, Sara and Jared, hold law degrees from Florida law schools.


Marc R. Gaylord earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 1980 after obtaining his B.D. degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 1975. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1983 (#375381).


Marc serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach & Martin County Chapter of the American Red Cross. He also serves on the boards of Sandy Pines Hospital, Seacoast Bank Advisory Board, Apollo School Foundation, and Community Chest of Hobe Sound. He is a member of the Jupiter Island Residents Association, and is on the President’s Council of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce.


Marc is a recipient of The Fund President’s Circle Award for 2015 and 2009, and has been consistently recognized as a Top Contributor for the past several years. He was included in Title Underwriters’ Treasure Coast Top 3%, along with other awards throughout his 30-year legal career.
